Shipping & Delivery
There is nothing quite like receiving a thoughtful gift, when you least expect it. Here at The Best Kind, shipping is a huge part of our gift box biz and we are committed to ensuring that each gift is received in the same, perfect condition that it was when it left us.
A few important things:
- Standard shipping is a low flat rate of $9 per gift box
- We only use Australia Post, to ensure high quality and a timely delivery
- Each order placed will be posted the following business day (for orders placed by 5pm)
- At this stage, we only ship to NSW, ACT, QLD and VIC
(P.S we really hope to expand into other states in the near future!)

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN EACH TBK GIFT BOX?
Each box includes all products outlined on the product page, a sleek white gift box, pink linen or white jute ribbon and a beautiful complimentary card - which we will handwrite your message in. We also fill each box with white or pink shredded paper, to ensure all of the goodies arrive safely. Our boxes are meant to be kept; they're the perfect place for keepsakes and trinkets.
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF EACH GIFT BOX?
We have 2 box sizes:
MEDIUM - 220mm (W) x 220mm (L) x 90mm (D)
LARGE- 250mm (W) x 250mm (L) x 90mm (D)
IS SHIPPING INCLUDED?
While we strive to keep shipping costs low (because we totally get it!), per-box shipping is a flat rate of $9.
We will be writing a blog post about the reason that we need to charge a shipping fee, so stay tuned!
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?
Orders take 3-4 business days to arrive via standard shipping, depending on where it's going. If you're in a hurry (and needed your gift, like, yesterday), email email@example.com, and we'll see how we can make it happen through express post (next day delivery).
I NEED A GIFT DELIVERED ON THE WEEKEND, IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Australia Post does not delivery on Saturday or Sunday. This doesn't mean it is not possible, it just means that we will need to arrange a courier to deliver the gift for you. Please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make it happen!
WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?
All purchases are final (but they'll love it, guaranteed). We don't accept returns or exchanges. In the rare case that a gift has been delivered damaged, please get in touch with us within 48 hours with pictures of the damaged goods.
THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH DELIVERY, WHAT DO I DO NOW?
Email us at email@example.com and we'll look into it for you. Please remember that when ordering any of our gift boxes you are agreeing to authority to leave. This means all deliveries will be left in a safe place, if the recipient does not answer the door. Once items are left at a residence we cannot take any responsibility for parcels that go missing. It is also your responsibility to input the correct address and recipient at checkout, we cannot take any responsibility for incomplete addresses or incorrect addresses.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
At this early stage, we only ship to NSW, ACT, QLD & VIC due to the high cost of postage to our other beautiful Australian states.
If you don't see your state listed above, we can ship anywhere in Australia on a case-by-case basis at a slightly higher cost. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more info and we'll see what we can do!
